To use Orius, you must: •Be at least 18 years of age. •Possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. •Be a Nigerian citizen or a legal resident within the Federal Republic of Nigeria. •Provide accurate identity information (including Nin/BVN where required for clinical verification).
Orius provides a digital platform for mental health consultations, therapy, and medical record management. •Non-Emergency Service: OUR SERVICES ARE NOT FOR EMERGENCIES. If you are experiencing a life-threatening situation or a severe mental health crisis (e.g., suicidal ideation), call the national emergency number (112) or visit the nearest psychiatric hospital immediately. •Professional Relationship: Consultations are provided by licensed healthcare practitioners. Orius facilitates the connection but the clinical responsibility lies with the treating practitioner.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. Under the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015, any unauthorised use of another person’s account is a criminal offence.
In accordance with the National Health Act (NHA) 2014 and the NDPA 2023: •We maintain electronic health records (EHR) of your consultations. •You have the right to access your records, subject to professional medical guidelines. •Data is stored using industry-standard encryption (AES-256) to ensure confidentiality.
•Currency: All transactions are processed in Nigerian Naira (₦). •Third-Party Processors: Payments are handled by authorised Nigerian payment gateways. You agree to their respective terms. •Refunds: Our refund policy is governed by the professional services rendered; once a session has been scheduled, fees are generally non-refundable unless a cancellation or rescheduling is requested 24 hours prior to the initial schedule, or otherwise stated.
You agree not to: •Misrepresent your identity or medical/psychological history. •Record sessions with practitioners without explicit written consent. •Use the platform for any fraudulent or illegal activity.
All content on the platform, including software, branding, and therapeutic materials, is the property of Orius Medical and is protected by the Copyright Act 2022 of Nigeria.
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Orius Medical Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or the failure of internet services/equipment beyond our control.
•Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. •Amicable Settlement: Parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiations. •Arbitration: If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration in Lagos or Abuja under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.
